Well, here I am on another blogging venture. I don't know how I'm going to keep up with both of them. The idea here is that I take and post one picture each day and at the end of the year, I'll have a pictorial essay of 2010. Or something.

So, here's my picture for January 1. We took Maggie to see her first movie at the theater! We went to see "The Princess and the Frog." Now, I love a good Disney musical. Catchy music, pretty drawings, you know. Maggie was not quite as enamored as I. When we were making our way to our seats, the previews started and they were deafening. Maggie didn't like that at all. She's not really a fan of loud noises. I'll be honest, I'm not really either. I covered my ears during the previews. There was a character in the movie called the Shadow Man and Maggie was scared of him. He was a little scary, I'll admit. And about 45 minutes into the movie, Maggie wanted to know when the movie was going to be over. Heh. But she did get to drink about a gallon of orange soda so all was not lost. I don't know that Maggie's first movie was a total hit but it was a fun thing to do on New Year's Day.
