Emily, Ollie and Kimberly

Today, I went to lunch with 2 friends that I've known since freshman year of college. I enjoy and have a great time with my "new" friends with whom I work but there is nothing like old friends who know you well. There's no weird, awkward moments and everyone knows each other's stories but don't protest at hearing them again. After a yummy lunch at Brixx, Kimberly and I hit the mall, Starbucks and Michael's. Kimberly and I both decided we might want to start knitting again. I'm not sure I even remember how to cast on and I certainly don't know where my knitting needles are but I bought some pretty yarn at Michael's to make (what else?) a scarf. It was a really good day--just the kind I've been needing for a while now.
