David wanted to go to the Comic Book Convention today for an early Father's Day present. We followed David's Comic Con Protocol and made a circuit of the entire convention center to ascertain the whereabouts of various merchants. Then we made a second loop to see which artists were there and where they were located. Then we started shopping. Well, David did. I mostly stared at the other people who were there. And no, I was not judging them, because I also looked like a super-dork with my giant camera on my shoulder. Okay, well, I did judge the woman who was dressed up like she had been attacked by a zombie. Because she looked
gross. Maggie got her first comic books as seen above. The one I picked for her was called Mod Wheels. I thought that sounded interesting. They were only 50 cents apiece. So, we shopped and we shopped. And then I saw this guy.

That guy came to the convention dressed as a STORM TROOPER. I bet he was sweaty in all that armor. I asked David if he wanted to get his picture made with the storm trooper but he said no. I spent a lot of our visit wishing that we were at a Gymboree convention. OMG. I would love that! David managed to cross a lot of stuff off his List of Comics to Buy and then we headed out.

David was so proud of his nerdy baby.
Since we were in downtown Charlotte, you know I had to try to get some artsy fartsy shots of Maggie.

Hee! She saw a ladybug on the tree.
Okay, well, maybe that was all the artsy fartsy I was able to get. My other pictures don't look that great. We are having a huge thunderstorm now so maybe I should get off this here computer and turn the TV off because the satellite is out AGAIN.
Four more days of school! I cannot wait for this year to end!
