I got some pictures of David reading to Maggie tonight before bed. I realize that this is an extremely weird evening snuggle time, but Maggie prefers to be read to like she's at school. She also likes to say, "DING!" when it's time for David to turn the page, like she's a CD.

It does make it a bit more difficult to see the pictures in the books, though. Maggie went on a field trip to Build a Bear with her class today. It's the culmination of her pre-K year. Of course, she will be in pre-K daycare again next year because she misses the kindergarten cut off by a month. Fine by me. I'm not quite ready to send her off to real school yet. Anyway, she got to ride on a little school bus and make her bear but I think the highlight of the day was getting to bring her lunch to school! I let her use my lunchbox and she thought she was
awesome when she left this morning. Oh, and her bear's name is "Pola Bear." I tried to tell her that polar bears were white but she disagreed with me.
Tomorrow is the much dreaded, yearly 7th grade trip to Carowinds. Ick. I think I may be a total weenie and ride nothing tomorrow. The older I get, the less fun rides seem to be. They just leave me with a queasy feeling. We shall see, though. Kimberly is going to pick Maggie up and take her and AK to dinner after school tomorrow. Maggie is super psyched about that. So, tonight before you close your eyes, could you just say a little prayer for our trip tomorrow? It would be much appreciated. :)
It is so funny that Maggie likes to be read to from across the room like she's in school! So cute!
