I let Maggie make her peanut butter and jelly sandwich one day and it was kind of a sad little sandwich, but oh MY, was she proud of herself.  I congratulated her accordingly on her accomplishment.

It may have been a little easier for her to spread the jelly with her right hand.  I let her make a turkey sandwich the other day but it turned out to be more like a mayonnaise sandwich with some turkey hidden in there somewhere.  She might not be quite ready for that yet.
