David wears this tie every year on the first day of school.
I had a good day back today. It felt good to be back at work and talking to people and yes, even teaching a little bit. I got to use my loud-ass teacher voice in the hallway a few times and that felt good too. I'm ready to be done with all the beginning of the year procedures and rules and get on to the good stuff. Jeez. Could I use the word good a few more times in one paragraph?
So, day 1 down. 179 to go.
